Nodal Load and Generation Scenarios

Joint Monte Carlo scenarios for power load demand, solar generation, and wind generation. Scenarios are produced by PGscen, an open-source simulation tool trained on historical forecasted and realized data, capturing spatial and temporal correlations via LASSO-based methods and Gaussian Random Fields.

Distributions of running costs derived from feeding scenario batches through security-constrained unit commitment and economic dispatch simulations of the Texas electricity grid (ERCOT).

Risk Indices

Risk Allocation and Reliability Cost Indices

Asset-level and zone-level reliability cost allocations computed using coherent risk measures and Shapley-value-based methodologies. Includes system risk indices that decompose realized costs equitably across renewable and conventional assets.

Locational Marginal Prices (LMPs) and Marginal Emission Rates adjusted for risk, generated across scenario batches for geographic and temporal analysis.
